No discovery with sample heart rate app

Hi,

I am using the nRF51822 evaluation kit, and have been unable to get it working. I compiled the sample BLE Heart Rate sensor program and uploaded it to the evaluation kit board, but the provided dongle (accessed through the Master Control Panel) was unable to discover it, as were a Mac laptop and an Android tablet, both with BLE support. After looking through the source code of the sample app, I tried holding down various buttons on startup, but to no avail.

Could it be that you've tried to use SDK 5.0.0 with softdevice 5.2.1? If so, take a look at this.

No: though I do have softdevice 5.2.1, I have SDK 4.4.2, which should be compatible.

Sorry for the delay here, but I've been off for Christmas vacation. However, have you gotten any further on this? If you still have trouble could you please try to run your project with the debugger to see what happens?
