PCA10001 v2.1 cannot work as a Master Emulator

After I download NRF51822_0.9.0.HEX in PCA10001 v2.1, but the MCP cannot work. Anyway, PCA10000 is working fine. Do you have any solution about this? Thanks.

Hi Tony, Since there was 2 version of the PCA10000 that use different UART pin, we use GPIO pin P0.30 to determine the version. The PCA10001 v2.1 matches with PCA10000 v2.x so P0.30 should connect to GND to let the firmware know which pins it should use for UART. After you connect P0.30 to ground, you should be able to use PCA10001 as the Master Emulator (note that S110 softdevice should not be flashed)
