Hi,
I want to develop one FOB key which will be in TX mode only to transmit a key continuously or at specified interval at ultra low power mode and powered by CR2032 coin cell with no any key.
Please suggest ultra low power stand alone IC.

Hi
Our latest ultra low power System on Chip IC is the nRF52. It supports Bluetooth low energy, ANT, or proprietary protocols. It has ARM Cortex M4F processor on board with loads of peripherals, like UART, ADC, TIMERs, TWI master and slave, SPI master and slave, and many more. The specification is here and the SDK is here and the documentation is here
If you take Stefan's suggestions and use the nrf52 device as well as spend some time designing a usage and power profile, I think you will be impressed with how long these devices will operate on a battery that large. You can get development kits for the nrf52 devices but at the moment, the nrf51822xxAC devices are my go-to solution.
Hi Syntroniks and Stefan,
Thanks for your valuable response..
I want to know that during RX mode in nRF51822, will nRF51822 IC generate an interrupt if any RF activity is there?
Do you intend to use BLE, ANT, or proprietary protocol? With BLE or ANT your device can interact with phones and other devices that support BLE or ANT. With proprietary protocol, you will be developing devices both on receiver and sender side.
Hi Stefan,
I will use proprietary protocol as I want to develop one receiver and one sender based on nRF51822. Is interrupt generated by nRF51822 at receiver side if there is any RF activity?
