Easiest way to test throughput with the Evaluation Kit?

Hi,

I need something that can be the Master and talk to the Evaluation Kit Board to try to send a large amount of data. Do the Master Control Panel, or the mobile app nRF Master Control, support that? In that case I can't figure it out how...

Is there any API to be used if I want to develop something by my self to be used with the Development Dongle?

Or is there anyone that have any suggestion where to start looking to find something that I can use for this (from a PC or a mobile phone)?

Hi,

The Master control panel is a tool for development, and can ofcourse be used to debug your link. However, it's limited to 1 packet pr connection interval, so the speed will be lower compared to most BLE-compatible smart phones.

It's also linked to another thread where its stated how to queue packets while in a connection, using notifications.

You may also have use in taking a look at this application, which can be used with any smart phone capable of enabling notifications on a characteristic (tested with LightBlue on iOS, should work with MCP on Android).
