nRF51 UART baud rate accuracy

I am using a nRF51822 at 16 MHz

What is the math formula behind the BAUDRATE register?

What is the timing error for each of the standard baud rate setting? This is not in the reference manual.

Hi Frank,

You can calculate the baudrate using the formula posted here: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../uart-baudrate-register-values

The overall timing error will depend on the value calculated + clock jitter (if running on XOSC16M, it should be very little)
