ACL links?

Hello, I am currently working on a hard metal project involving Nordic product with Bluetooth.

I have to implement Bluetooth Smart for a bare metal project and I've already mostly done the l2cap-le and mostly hci parts. But I don't know how to deal with ACL.

Are ACL links are created by the OS or by the hardware?

I really hope you may help me.

Links / connections are created by our stack / softdevice. Is there any particular reason why you want to create your own stack?

Do your devices adjust their tx strengh according to the distance of a connected device? It is important for security purposes for my project that emissions are as low as possible to just a connected device.

It doesn't adjust this automatically, but it's possible to report the RSSI strenght to the application, so the application can adjust tx power using sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set.
