Using NRF52 Preview DK's Segger Section as Standalone Programmer for NRF51

Hello Guys,

I would like to know, can i use NRF52 Preview DK on Board Segger Section as standalone Segger JLink Programmer for NRF51?

So, is there any way to dis connect the on board NRF52? So, i can then see separately what Memory Sections are in NRF51 chip if i connect.

Hi Annim,

You don't need to disconnect anything, just attach the target to P19 or P20 header. SEGGER J-Link OB firmware should detect it automatically (if you power it correctly, note that P19 doesn't supply 3V). Description can be found at Nordic's infocenter, there are also small "not obvious" tricks how to use P20 header if you decide so (see this thread).
