Obviously, Nordic's own dev kits; eg,
3rd party modules:
Many thanks awneil. Perhaps I should have been clearer, the 3rd party products I was looking for where those that have already been manufactured. For example, in the proximity video that Nordic have, it is a small black device with buttons on it - this is what I was looking for, so proximity, heart rate monitors etc.

But the whole point of Bluetooth is that it uses a set of Standard profiles - hear rate, etc - so that the underlying chipset is irrelevant.
Some companies choose to reveal what chipset they use - try a trawl through the Nordic press releases - but most don't
Understood, but if I want to use the Nordic App, will it still work ?

Hi. As @awneil writes in his comment, some devices will work and some will not. That depends on how the manufacturer has implemented the product. The proximity video you are referring to is a promotion of the iPhone app and not a specific proximity device. The app is intended to be used for development in conjunction with one of our BLE chips. Some commercial proximity devices might work with the app, but if the manufacturer of the device want to make sure that you can only use the manufacturer's own app they are free to do so.
The same goes for the nRFToolbox app. It will probably work with some heart rate monitors, proximity devices, etc., but not all. The app is intended to be used for development with our chips and our SDKs.
