  • Hi,

This may be related to the user.config file, standard location C:\Users<your user name>\AppData\Local\Nordic_Semiconductor\MasterControlPanel.exe_Url_\3.0.0.14.

Can you try deleting the MasterControlPanel.exe_Url_ folder (when MCP is not running) and then try to start it again?

If this is not working, you may try to reinstall Master Control Panel. A last resort may be to run it as administrator.

    Regards, Terje

  • Hello Terje,

    I followed your suggestion. I dont have MasterControlPanel.exe_Url_\3.0.0.14. directory. But have C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Control Panel and C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Control Panel

Only log.txt file inside. I deleted it. Still can't start it.

    Uninstall/Reinstall won't solve the problem.

  • Hi,

The name of the configuration file (standard location in the folder I described) is user.config. You can try to search the C drive for that file and delete it. I am not sure if the uninstaller removes it or not.

Be sure to find the file in a folder with Nordic Semiconductor, Master Control Panel or similar in the folder name, as the file name is very generic and other programs may have similarly named config files as well.

    Regards, Terje
