Run arduino directly on nrf51822 as ESP8266 does

Hi Friends, I like Nordic and Arduino, it's great if Nordic can support Arduino officially, we can use the ARM0 in Nrf51822 as a single control point of Arduino project. There are some projects created by other community to do this , such as Redbear github.com/.../nRF51822-Arduino and Roger Clark github.com/.../nRF51822-Arduino . However, we need a compatibility of nrf51822 modules all over the world. For ESP8266 and the their upcoming combo Wifi+BLE ESP32, they have a great support on Arduino such as github.com/.../Arduino and www.esp32.com/viewtopic.php. Can we have this to bring Nordic into the open hardware and maker world ?

@Philip: I don't think we will have an official Arduino library for nRF51.

But for nRF52 we actually do, have you seen the Arduino Primo ?

The Arduino.org folks are claiming the Primo isn't available with no ETA. Can Nordic provide any info to get the nrf52 to work with the Arduino IDE until the Primo is out?

Update: Actually I was wrong, the support will be available in SDK v12. That we are going to release soon.

@Hung Bui, support Arduino in SDK12 ! that's good news for the maker world ! Arduino Primo core is also an attractive project, if is is an open hardware.
