secure dfu does not link with NRF_LOG_ENABLED

I have secure dfu working on the pca 10040, and being able to download my own signed app.

However I want to turn NRF_LOG and at link time I get several messages of "._build\nrf52832_xxaa_s132.axf: Error: L6406E: No space in execution regions with .ANY selector matching nrf_ble_dfu.o(i.conn_params_error_handler)." for all the modules involved.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround?

You have to increase the memory area allocated to the bootloader under Options for target--> Target --> Read/Only Memory Areas. The following settings should remove the linker errors

IROM1 Start: 0x75000       Size: 0x9000
IRAM1 Start: 0x20002C00    Size: 0xD380
