Third step with nrf52832

Hello,

In the last month i bought the nr52-dk, my first two steps handling it were:

1. the getting started tutorial and some other tutorials to get the feeling of the device.
2. in the last few days i read the SoftDevice Specifications 2.0 and the nrf52832 Specifications, in the next few days I will read information in Cortex-M4 Devices Generic User Guide.I have some questions about the nrf52 part, but for step two i think it is enough.

My question is what is a recommended step 3? should i get further into the specifications, or clear it as i write some code.

If you have any advice on how i should procceed i'll be happy to read it.

I think it is notworthy that I have no previous experince with SOCs.

The fact that it's a "SoC" makes virtually no difference at all compared to using a separate microcontroller & radio.

So more noteworthy would be what experience you do have - particularly with microcontrollers & (wireless) communications.

with wireless communications i have no experience at all.

I am a last year student in Electrical Engeneering and Physics, i am in the summer break before the last year. I had some minimal experience programming an isolated code to some microcontorlers that were made in advanced for a particualr cause, so here again- i have no practical experince.

I think it is difficult to give very specific advice as all learn differently. If it was me I would turn to the SDK examples and documentation, and start to play with and modify the examples to my need, learning as I go. Spending too much time just reading documentation is not a good way to learn in my experience. It is better to start writing code and seek answers to questions as they arise, as that makes it easier to understand what you need (and what you read).
