I cannot suffer this tool anymore. As u can see in the pic below, it provides a cursor mode to measure the currents of X1/X2. However, users always need to know the average current between X1 and X2, while ... (more)
I've gone through the user manual for the Nordic Power Profiler Kit, but I can't find any basic information on how to understand the plots and the measurements reported under the Average and Trigger windows. For example, are ... (more)
I finished preparing the nrf52832 board to use ppk and measured it with ppk. I am trying to repair the nrf52832 board. However, I do not understand the contents of ppk document, apply a jumper on P22. Could you ... (more)
Hi, I am new in this field and i am trying to do current measurement on the nrf52840 PDK using PPK, in sleep mode(sd_power_system_off) i get average 40 micro amp which suppose to be 0,6! while ... (more)
I am using the PPK with SW v1.1.0 on a windows virtual machine on my mac. I'm testing custom hardware using the PPK regulator to supply power to my hardware.
There seem to be a few issues ... (more)
Hi, I am seeing an issue where after enabling read back protection (rbp) on NRF52 and using sdk 12.1 the tag goes to state where it drains a lot of current.
command used: nrfjprog -f NRF52 --rbp ALL

Seems PPK is broken, it measures ~70mA no matter what I connect it to, even only measuring on a DK in shutdown.
I suspect this happend during measuring on a custom board, an j-link debugger was connected to the custom ... (more)
Hello, I'm trying to measure the current profile with the PPK (HW Rev:1.1.0, SW: 1.1.0) but I see a lot of strange behaviors.
My firmware initializes everything and the waits a button event. When ... (more)
I am reading a large FIFO buffer from a sensor and there are at least two ways to do it - by simply reading the FIFO using the CPU and SPI in chunks of 255 byte blocks, or using EasyDma list ... (more)
I've connected some sensors using I2C and SPI to a DK and their power consumption is not being reflected in the PPK. Without any BLE acitivity, the current is almost zero whereas I'd expect atleast a constant 150uA ... (more)
I'm using the Power Profiler Kit and the PPK desktop application to log the power consumption of my device. This works well for short time spans.
However, I'd also like to log longer periods. Like days or ... (more)
Hi, Is it safe to backfeed some current into the PPK. I use the PPK to measure the power consumption of a battery powered IoT device. I disconnect the battery and use the PPk to supply my device. However, when ... (more)
I was just wondering if theres plans to migrate the PPK software to be an app in the NRFConnect tool. I love the NRFConnect tool and I wasnt able to get the PPK software running on a mac. I ended ... (more)
It doesn't look like ppk is in the Nordic github, so leaving this here:
On linux, ppk v1.0 work great, but v1.1 hangs and takes forever to draw the windows. I traced the problem to the logging ... (more)

Hi. Great that you have added logging capability to the PPK desktop app. This was exactly what I needed.
I noticed one minor issue with the logging: When starting logging, it asks for a file to save the log to ... (more)
We encounter the problem after upgraded the PPK software. There are different results when using PPK v1.0.0 and v1.1.0.
