NRF_CONNECT_FOR_DESKTOP Ubuntu ARM64 unsupported

I am trying to install the nRF_Connect_SDK and associated toolchain under Linux Ubuntu ARM64.  I find from other postings here that nRF_Connect_For_Desktop is not available for ARM64.  There is only one download here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Connect-for-Desktop/Download#infotabs and it's for x86 architecture.  So I find myself without the conventional way to install the toolchain and SDK.

How do I proceed?

Err, ugh, I read that to mean no version of Ubuntu nor any other distribution of Linux is supported.  Are you folks withdrawing support for UbuntulLinux?

No, It's just that at the moment, we do not have support for this.

I tried to install the Zephyr Project's toolchain; it also doesn't support my version of Ubuntu.

Is there a way one may get notified when these problems are fixed?
