Programmer outputting error - Failed to detect device after reboot. Timed out after 10 seconds.

Programmer tool v3.0.9 outputting the error - "Failed to detect device after reboot. Timed out after 10 seconds." After the user attempts to write a blinky hex file to a nrf52840 dongle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The LED on the dongle does light up, and after I write the hex file to the dongle LED 1 turns green.
