NRF Connect SDK doesn't stop running Build

Hi everyone,

I currently installed the latest version of the NRF connect SDK. I started a new build task which executes properly. The task doesn't however stop.

This is very annoying because I have to restart VSCode for it to stop. Is this a known issue? I can't find a reasonable explenation for it.

(Toolchain Manager version 1.2.5)

I actually tried this. But the issue remained the same. There has to be an issue with my project somehow.

This Issue really seems to be the same as the one Diogo mentions. It also started after upgrading to the latest plugin version...

Have you been able to resolve this? Of find some conditions that are required to trigger it? I have reported this to our VS Code team, but we have not been able to reproduce nor explain what could cause this with version v2023.9.336.

I could send you the project trough a confidential path, if thats possible. The problem only occures with this project so it probably has something to do with the setup somehow
