Can not program the sample peripheral_uart_nrf5340dk.hex to nRF5340 DK

Hi,

I just started the steps in the document section in 'Getting started with nRF5340 DK'. I used the Programmer with version 'Official V.4.0.1'.

After I connected the nRF5340 DK with my laptop, the Programmer detected the DK and showed 'J-Link 001050098347'.

But when I added the precompiled sample peripheral_uart_nrf5340dk.hex and selected 'Write', the Programmer reported the error 'Error: Failed with exit code 1. One or more program tasks failed. Message: Failed, No matching plugin found for operations to execute.'

Could you help me with this? Maybe I need to install some plugins or some settings somewhere? I attached a screenshot below.

The root cause is the J-LINK version mismatched.

After I uninstalled my JLink_V7.92n, and re-install 'nRF connect for Desktop', the default JLink_V7.80c was installed. Then the error disappeared.

It seems like the JLink version you had installed were newer than the nRF Connect for Desktop required.
