Migration of beacon project

Hi,

we use our code for beacons for very long time now. Unfortunately producer changed chip. 

We were using NRF51802QF with SoftDeviceS130.

Now the chip is NRF52810QCAA.

What are minimum memory changes necessary in Keil memory setting and code to work?

EDIT: First I tried changing only GPIO and LED and and IOs work fine now but I am afraid if NRF52 works properly on S130 (advertising, low energy etc.)

Yes, should I use 15.2.0 or 17.x.x?

Can I change my few years old code just a little bit or do I have to write application from scratch using new SDK?

Use the latest one, nRF5 SDK v17.1.0

There will be some migration work needed, but you can likely keep the overall structure, logic, etc in from your code.

PS: There is also the new nRF Connect SDK that we recommend for new projects, but here you would likely need to write most of your code from scratch. nRF Connect SDK and nRF5 SDK statement

1) Is funcion ble_adv_data_set() still working? Which header?

2) In example I see idle_state_handle(), is it working similar to older power_manage()?

Use sd_ble_gap_adv_set_configure , header: ble_gap.h
