An intern in our company has been using a new nRF52832 DK PCA10040, 3.0.0 (2023.22) for some days now, and particularly he run some examples and worked fine (nRF5 SDK 17.1.0 , s132 7.2.0 softdevice).
Today, he opened the Bluetooth Low Energy app from nRF Connect for Desktop v.5.0.0, chose the DK and a message appeared that it needs to be programmed. He clicked yes and since then the DK cannot connect to Segger Embedded Studio, and in the nRF Connect for Desktop - Programmer app, the device connects but fails to erase or write any file.
I tried to do erase using nrf-command-line-tools from cmd (Windows)
C:\Program Files\Nordic Semiconductor\nrf-command-line-tools>nrfjprog --recover -f nrf52
and this is what I get:
![](/resized-image/__size/640x480/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/4/6646.cmd.png)
and of course it didn't solve the problem.
How can I recover the DK?
Thanks in advance,
Dimitra
