Error flashing with nrf connect programmer

Hello

I want to flash a nRF52840dk dongle with the programmer from nRF Connect for Desktop. My application is a BLE central with MCUBOOT.

When I click "write" it asks me the SoftDevice version but I don't know what to choose. And whatever I choose it ended up with error : 

If you have any tips on how to flash it proporely.

Believe vscode with nrf connect sdk, right? frankly speaking, I am out of date guy, I still working with SDK17.1.0. Sorry, no more suggestions.

So I have a nrf52840 dongle, a project with build for it but I can't programm it ?

yes, you can programm it, even you can erase bootloader, flash your programm directly into dongle, as long as your programm working properly.

But what is the purpose of sdfubootloader if I can't use it ? 

May be have to do application without bootloader ?

DFU bootloader is used to upgrade rom for end product mainly.

But during developing, better without bootloader.
