NCS v2.7.0 radio_test example for nrf5340 toggle_dcdc_state

Greetings,

Is the command toggle_dcdc_state supported in the radio_test sample when compiled for the nRF5340? (https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/peripheral/radio_test/README.html#user_interface)

I see an error when I try to use it:

radio_test:~$ toggle_dcdc_state
toggle_dcdc_state: command not found
radio_test:~$

If it is not supported, what is the default state of the DC/DC converter?

Our design bypasses VREGH by connecting VDD and VDDH. It's mainly the VREGRADIO that we're concerned with for radio certification tests.

The DCDC state will depend on the configs set in either the board file or configs set for the app image. 

The DCDC stat does not effect what mode the device is in, normal voltage mode or high voltage mode. This is only a function of how the VDD and VDDH pins are connected.

Command does not work it seems. 

I will ask if this is something we can fix or document better.

NCS 2.7 and 53 + the radio test does not seem to work as intended so will have to fix that. 

But, for disabling DCDC, use the nrfjprog command and write to memory. 

So you can use the following:

nrfjprog --memrd 0x50004B00      

nrfjprog --memwr 0x50004B00 --val 0


Set the --val <X> ot 0 or 1, where 1 is enabled and 0 is disabled.

So base address is 0x50004000 or 0x40004000 depending on if you are ins secure ot non secure domain. 

DC/DC enable register for VREGMAIN   =  0x704 
DC/DC enable register for VREGRADIO = 0x904
DC/DC enable register for VREGH         = 0xB00

This way you can test without having to rebuild the application

FYI, it appears that the radio_test example defaults to enabling the DC-DC converters.

After erasing the part through nRF Connect for Desktop / Programmer utility
