Attempting to attach NRF9160-DK to Verizon with a Verizon data SIM only obtains IP address.
Internet access is limited to DNS within Verizon.
Submitting the IMEI to:
Verizon Open Development | activation-troubleshooting (verizonwireless.com)
results in the following message:
The device IMEI which was entered is not eligible for activation. Please visit the Verizon OD Showcase (https://opendevelopment.verizonwireless.com/device-showcase) where you can search the manufacturer and device model of the device which you are trying to activate. If the device is not present in the OD Showcase then it is likely that the device is not Verizon Open Development certified and cannot be activated. Otherwise, please reach out to the device manufacturer to ensure they have entered the device IMEI properly into the Verizon systems.
The device was purchased from Mouser and is registered with Nordic cloud and iBasis SIM is functional. However iBasis roams to T-Mobile which has limited coverage, ie, not usable for practical purposes.
Please advise.
