I recently upgraded from a Ubuntu raspberry to a Raspery PI5 running PI OS and have two Nordic boards but not able to install the nrfConnect image on the PI image. Is there some tricks to it or to I need to get back to Ubuntu. Thanks.

I would think if I could install the arm64 toolchains I could manually install the nrf tools somehow. That is what I was looking for.
Edwin do you know if there is a plan to support arm64 Ubuntu or raspberry pi5 soon or do I give up on the Nordic boards. I am out out storage on my x64 system to continue to use it for notice and want to use my new raspberry pi5. Thanks. The support list says arm64 for Linux has not supported. Thanks
David
No, nRF Connect for Desktop (if that is what we are talking about) is not supported on ARM64 for ubuntu. It is supported for ARM64 in some MacOS'es, but only in some older versions.
So unfortunately, it doesn't look like you will be able to run it on your Raspberry Pi.
Best regards,
Edvin
Ok understood, I will get a storage upgrade for my up 4000 Intel and run both. Thanks. Will monitor Nordic for future arm64 support as more are buying into raspberry pi5 but is arm64.
