Can nrf51822+cp2102 set as a USB dongle

Hi: I have no dongle or any other Dev board such as PCA10031. Can I use nrf51822 and cp2102 as a usb dongle to work with MCU of PC? If the answer is yes, what should I do? Thank you very much!

I'm not sure what are you planing to do. Are you planing to use them as the back end for nRF Connect app or you are planing to use as ble-sniffer application ? 

Anyway, please create a new case for that.

I am planning to use CP2102 (USB to UART) and RF-BM-ND06 NRF52840 bluetooth module for sniffing BLE packets .

Or as an alternative for Nordic Bluetooth USB dongle.

But after connecting the hardware to the Nordic NRF Connect Desktop Application I am getting error as "Unsupported device with serial number '0001' and traits".

Let me know if there are any steps I am missing.

Doens't seems that it's supported. Please use one of the nRF5 DK or dongle for the purpose.
