The laptop BT will need to be v4 - for Bluetooth Smart (formerly, "Low Energy").
You will have to write a PC application to connect to your device, receive the information, and write it to the file.
See the documentation for your PC tools for details of how to interact with Bluetooth Smart devices.
I think that Windows 8 was the first to have Bluetooth Smart support?
Yes the laptop supports BLE, so i need to look for how to write a C program to interface with the nrf51 sent data, correct? And those that you linked are libraries for windows to interact with BLE, right?
No: the PC neither knows nor cares about nRF51 - it just sees the GATT profile, characteristics, etc.
