Development RedBearLab BLE mini with Nucleo F401RE

Hello

I am trying to develop my Redbear Lab's BLE mini with Nucleo F401RE since I don't have any J-Link segger and USB dongle. Is it possible to write program through STM32 Nucleo F401RE?? The STM board has external SWD port. I could let the keil IDE recognize the ST-Link, but I cant download the program to Redbear nRF51822.

Is it only way to write the program into the BLE mini with its dongle??

P.S. Thank you for your reply, I have just made it writing sample firmware to BLE nano. It is really easy, follow the manual (AN4605 Application note STM32-nRF51822 Bluetooth low energy (BLE) system solution) and change the debug speed lower than 1MHz. We can use ST-Link to write RedBearLab BLE nano.

  • It is. Actually I have Segger J-Link Lite so it is no problem. But I just came up with the idea for people who doesnt have segger or cant buy it because of the price. Actually J-link lite is not so easy available in my country. Anyways, thank you for your comment. I also try to find any article in the nordic forum :)
