Do I need VID/PID for BTLE HID?

Hey all, 
 I've created HIDs using USB before which require a vendor ID (VID) and product ID (PID). Are these necessary when creating a device that uses HID over BTLE? If so, can Nordic provide an ID pair?

You cannot use the Nordic VID when you are making HID over BTLE products.
However HID over BTLE does not depend on the VID/PID unless you plan to add device drivers on the HID host that is to be hooked to that VID/PID pair.
Do not use the PNP ID in the Device Information Service and your HID over BTLE device should still work without any problems.
