NRF 52 Custom Board HRM Peripheral issue

Hi,

My team has created a custom board with NRF 52 and were able to flash the blinky sample successfully. The LED connected to P.20 is glowing on the custom board after the successful flash.

The LED in custom board blinks on flashing Blinky hex file with 132 softdevice and without the softdevice (both taken from hex folder of blinky sample in SDK 12).

Question 1: With the LED blinking, does this indicate that Custom board is up and working?

After this exercise, s132_nrf52_3.0.0 softdevice was programmed to the NRF52 dev kit and HRM sample from SDK 12 was compiled and flashed to NRF52 dev kit, LED 1 started to blink. Using the NRF connect mobile app, NRF 52 dev kit was detected by the app and bonded successfully. Through HRM option in nRF Toolbox app we were able to successfully connect to nRF 52 dev kit and the graph plotted values read from dev kit.

The same above steps were repeated on the nRF52 custom board we designed, programming of softdevice and HRM sample was successful. But, the LED on custom board is not glowing and custom board is not getting detected in Scan of nRF connect mobile app.

Question 2: Is there anything that we are missing here to flash the BLE Softdevice on custom board for HRM profile?

We assembled a new board and HRM sample has started to work with NRF Connect Mobile app. Not sure where the problem was, Thanks for your assistance.

But, the HRM service seems to get stuck at 220 bpm on the nRF Toolbox mobile App. Once this happens, the custom board is not discoverable and i have to take the battery out, put it back again to make the custom board discoverable.

I will start a new thread for this issue.
