Using RTT viewer in SDK 12.2 SES

sdkconfig.txtmainc.txt(/attachment/6fb97103178e9eb2c30302351e63ce8f)Can you please tell whether i follow the the entire tutorial as in the link or just the first step for SDK 12.2 SES. Even if i use the first step, i need the CMSIS wizard that uses Java tool to modify the functionality in sdkconfig.h to enable logging through the RTT viewer.

But somehow there is a problem with opening the .jar file, since Java tool is not working for my windows.

Is there an alternative way to modify the sdkconfig.h, not manually, as there are chances of errors coming up if i change it myself, then there will be further problems

I have added APP_ERROR_CHECK(NRF_LOG_INIT(NULL)); and NRF_LOG_INFO() just at the start of the curly bracket

I would also recommend that you remove the call to printf, as this can cause your code to halt if stdio functions are not retargeted to UART etc.

i can remove the printf but still when i open the black window, no text appears, it says RTT is connected but when i go to input- sending-send on enter, no data shows up. Do i have to open the termite window also while logging maybe?

You should not need to run termite. Are you sure the code is actually executing and that you did not end up in the error handler? Have you tried debugging?
