Softdevice not working

Hello I'm a beginner using NRF51882, I do not have enough money to buy NDK51 Development or NRF Dongle, the solution I changed STLINK STM32 to JLINK by following tutorial on youtube www.youtube.com/watch and Development KIT BLE400 From waveshare, i tried all instances of program/example codes can not work except GPIO for example LED Blink or UART Communication, btw i'm using KEIL, -The question is whether to flashing softdevice must use JLINK Original from SEGGER? -Or should I use softdevice with certain version?

i'm use example program from NRF51_SDK_8.1.0_b6ed55f\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_uart\pca10028\s130\arm5_no_packs, i think this example i'm can see bluetooth id in smartphone, and i can pairing between nrf51822 with my smartphone,

I believe this example doesn't support Security Manager features but this can be fixed by using newer SDK and this blog post. However this isn't really your problem if you cannot see the advertisement and connect to it at the first place. Try to use different phone and/or sniffer to be sure that nRF5x device is advertising, then try to clear cache on the phone side (e.g. by turning the BT off and on, restarting the device or in the worst case clearing network settings...)

Hello, Thank you for help me, my Question about nrfGo Studio, what the value for set softdevice size in my example picture, i use softdevice S130 V2.1 for example code SDK 11 bluetooth advertising mode,

Are you sure you use the latest nRFgo Studio version? This should be either loaded automatically or not needed at all. If it is true then memory requirements for each SD can be found in release notes, just find them and use them.

Take a look in the specification for the softdevice to find the memory resource requirements. In your case i believe it should be 108kB.
