Just to clarify, are you saying the the upgrade to iOS 7.0.2 resolved your issue?

Why I used '\r' to match the end of the strings is worked? '\n' not work.

I have tested SecureCRT and Putty console.

yes, /r would work good I think. \n indeed doesn't work on all terminals b/c most terminal translate the keyboard enter to /r
