Loss of data between a BLE device and my computer

Hello , 

I have been using a NRF51 dongle to record data with a software via BLuetooth Low Energy on my computer 

I have been experiencing loos of data between my device and the computer , is itp ossible that it is due to the dongle ? Maybe because it heats or is old and might have experienced shocks in the past ?
