Coexist S132 on mesh with S140

Hi,

1. Can one run the coexist sample with softdevice S132 on a mesh where all the other nodes run S140?

2. does the coexist (UART) example need to be provisioned.

3. I need to implement UART on a server of the client light switch. Would it be easier to use the light_switch server example and impliment the UART code in there or rather use the BLE_UART example and build the mesh server code in there.

Still working on it on a daily basis. From my research it appears that it may be easier to take the BLE_UART example and add mesh functionality. I have tried to to do it the other way (add ble_uart into the mesh light switch example) and I got up to here https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/44697/where-to-define-uarts-for-the-file-nrf_drv_uart-h.

I read somewhere on this forum that when the co-exist sample  is switched off it loses the provision settings. hence I did not go this route.

Hi

I thought it was the other way round, i.e if you try to add Mesh to current BLE_UART software then it loses provisioning settings upon reboot, and if you start from the coexist example then you do not have this pitfall.

Is your model already working because I am trying a similar thing and want to know the feasibility?
