Nrf9160 Modem Unresponsive after FW Update

Hello there, 

Prior to updating to the latest modem firmware i was able to successfully get responses from the DK.

Running the Asset tracker app as well as AT Client. 

However after I update the firmware to the latest: 0.7.0-29 I am unable to get any responses.

Also, I am getting no responses from the Modem LEDS. I can successfully flash to the target just no interfacing to the modem.

Are there additional steps that are needed?

Do I have to flash spm first before the application or possibly flash the bootloader and then the application?

All was working well previously. Also my DK is v: 0.8.2 and I see there is hardware 0.8.5

Was there a major HW change that couldve impacted my modems response?

Please advise.
