Issue registering eSIM in nRF9160DK

Hi, I just received my nRF9160DK and I have been following the guide to getting it online. I'm at the stage where I am trying to activate my SIM card that came with the kit on the nrfCloud website, but I keep getting the following error after giving my user info on the registration form: "There was an error submitting your user information. This SIM cannot be activated". I looked at other questions on this site, but other users were in countries without LTE-M, which is not the case for me. Could someone help me figure this out so I can get started with this kit?

Hello, 

What SIM are you trying to activate? The SIM registration in nRF Cloud is for iBasis only.

Thank you for the reply. It's the iBasis eSIM. I'm able to add the SIM to my nRF cloud account, but once I put in my user information on the registration, it says the card cannot be activated.

Has anyone used the SIM before you?

Can you provide a screenshot of the error?

The SIM is from the dev kit, and I scratched off the material obscuring the PUK, so I am definitely the first one to use this SIM. Here is a screenshot of the error message, without showing personal details.

I am still having problems with activating the iBasis eSIM on the nRF Cloud website. Should I contact iBasis for this issue? I live in the United States, so I should not have a problem activating an LTE eSIM here.
