Tools>Options greyed out in SEGGER Embedded studio for ARM

Just downloaded this (5.10d) on MacOS 10.15.7.

(Planning to test with 9160 DK.)

Using getting started assistant

Got as far as the "setup a project in SES" (installed toolchain and cloned nrF connect SDK)

Instructions say "Click Tools > Options and select the nRF Connect tab."

.. but that option is greyed out.

Note: sourcecode_root is still blank.  I got this far by entering it manually on earlier steps.

What have I done wrong?

Hello, 

In order to develop an application for nRF9160 / nRF Connect SDK, one must download Segger Embedded Studio (Nordic Editiion) from here.

Please read the nRF Connect SDK (NCS) Getting Started guide and the NCS Tutorial Series on DevZone.

Yes I have arm_segger_embedded_studio_v510d_macos_x64_nordic

Tools > Options still greyed out.

OK.  Somehow an options window was still in place.

After closing that the Tools>Options opens the intended "Environment Options" one

I was able to complete that.

I have discovered that this "nRF Connect Options" window always comes up when I start SES

It starts with

```

nRF Connect SDK Release:

ZEPHYR_BASE (ncs)

nRF Connect Toolchain Version:

NONE (Use SES settings / environment PATH)

```

Neither of these pulldowns contain any options.

So I'm stuck.

 Thanks for clarifying. 

 In SES - Tools -> Options -> nRF Connect, have you set up the executables as per step 4 in the Getting Started Guide?

yes I have.  things got better when I corrected Zephyr Base.

however, I still can't select any boards when trying to open an nRF Connect SDK project.

I checked that the board files are in place in ..zephyr/boards/arm

Evidently some config parameter is not set up.
