【nRF52832】When use 1.8v power supply，power consumption reach to 14mA current.

Attached is our design. when using 1.8V power supply.by default ,current is 14mA.

Would you please help to  check it? Thanks a lot.

Are 14mA peak or average current? How are you measuring it? What firmware are you running on the nRF52832?

It is average current. method is adding current meter to supply circuit.protocol stack is S132 7.0.1.

For average current 14mA sounds a bit high. Are you using any other peripherals in your design using the same supply circuit?

A couple more of suggestions:

What kind of software or software example from the nRF5 SDK are you running on the chip?

And can you test using this file and measure the current consumption then?

You also need to check if you multimeter/current meter has the capacity to measure the average current accurately, we recommend using the PPK2 for measuring power consumption on our chips:
