How to send sensor data using AT commands to a device using Uart in segger embedded studio

Hi, I am new to NRF and segger embedded studio.

So I want to send temperature sensor data connected with nrf52840 DK to the Murata1_SC  device using UART.

The data will be sent using AT Commands.

So how to send AT Commands in Segger embedded studio.

Not sure what you mean by that?

• You want to be able to type commands manually, and see the responses - in preparation for coding it?
• You want to write code to send AT Commands?
• other?

AFAIK, Segger Embedded Studio doesn't have any integrated serial terminal - so you'd have to use a standalone terminal for that; eg, TeraTerm, Realterm, etc ...

I am using an nrf52840 nordic device, I just want some example code on how to send AT commands using nrf52840.

And I have experience in Arduino programming and raspberry Pi

AT commands are just text strings.

So start with  just sending text strings to a terminal.

Then do receiving text strings from a terminal.

I am using nr5 SDK and just working with UART example

Suppose this is my AT Command 

AT%CERTCMD="DIR"%CERTCMD:murata_1sc_cert.pem,cert.pem,privatekey.pem,murata_private.key

so how should i Send this command .

app_uart_put("AT%CERTCMD=\"DIR\"%CERTCMD:murata_1sc_cert.pem,cert.pem,privatekey.pem,murata_private.key")

So the above way is correct or not?

Hi Rajbir, 
Before trying to send AT command, please get familiar with how you can use UART. 

Try testing with the UART example in the SDK and verify the output with a terminal on PC. (Connect your board to PC to test first)
