h5_decode error, code: 0x802c, H5 error count

Hi,

I am getting this error message when using the nRF52 dev board but not when using the nRF51 dongle. I receive few packets and then it disconnects with this error message. here is the log from nRFConnect(version 3.6.1) desktop Bluetooth Low Energy application. I am connecting to an nRF52832 target device with an in house developed application that we have been using for years. 

it’s the nRFConnect that’s faulting because I can see the nRFConnect disconnect with the error message and the target device doesn’t disconnect until few seconds later with BLE_HCI_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT. I cant seem to find any information on this error that is helpful. any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Simon,I meant all the data received is correct, including this one that starts with x72. The next packet (12 00 19 CA 08 00 48 00 05 00 0E 02 C7 FF 64 40 FF 00 0A 02) does not get logged by nRF Connect but gets the error instead. Hope this clarifies the issue.

    Sorry about the late reply, but I've had to go on quite the hunt to find the right person to decode the data you're transmitting.

    Decoding it shows something very strange, as these are GATTC_EVT_HVX, but they miss bytes here and there. In the first 6 packets the event header is correct, but data is cut. The HCI header indicates a 34 byte packet (excluding HCI header, slip and CRC), but the packets are only 23 bytes. Then the event header contains 14 bytes and ends with a length of the variable (0x14 = 20 bytes) followed by the variable data. 34 bytes total as the header indicates. But there is only 9 bytes of data followed by CRC and SLIP. We need a UART logic capture from you guys to determine if this packet is correct or not.
