nRF Mesh App can't find BL653/nRF52833 boards trying to provision

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of Laird BL653 boards which use the nRF52833 chipset. They have SoftDevice S140 v7.0.1 on them and I'm using the nRF Mesh v3.1.4 for IOS. The app automatically set up my phone as provisioner and when I try to provision a new device I can't find anything. The BL653 boards are connected to my laptop through a JLINK port onboard and all the lights are on. My phone's bluetooth settings are on and available to new devices. 

My question is: Is there anything that I'm missing that I need to do before these boards would show up to be provisioned ie. flash new firmware, disable anything, GATT setup, change provisioner info, etc.?

I'm new to subject so sorry if anything seems obvious.

Hi all,

I have figured out the issue. Once I flashed the sample bluetooth mesh in the nRF Connect SDK I was able to find the device on the app.
