RF test in production

Hello,

We are designing a product that is coming in production. We have been told that for production the "radio_test" example project was enough for general RF testing. But the production team asked some features such as BER (bit error rate) ... i don't know if it is possible to get this information with the radio test example. Moreover, i saw that some application note have been written for setting up the DTM for production test. 

So my question is the following : 

- what is the best to do on a production line : use a simple radio test or use DTM combined with Anritsu MT8852B ?

Finally the production team really want to use DTM in production. I just saw that nordic wrote a document about it :

Do you know if such a setup can be easily implemented and does it takes time to test ?

Anritsu is quite expensive but it is not an issue for them. However, i saw that we can also use a DK to configure the setup : 

I know there is python script on computer side but i couldn't find which firmware i need to use for the nRF DK ?

Hi,

The application that should be flashed to both the DUT and the DK is the DTM example from the SDK. See the example documentation for more information how to setup the test. 

We're currently short on staff  due to the Holiday season so expect some delay in the handling of this case.
