Unable to do BLE FOTA using "nRF Connect for Android"

[aja-nunam]

Setup -

1. Zephyr 2.7.0 for firmware build .bin file and signed using imgtool.

2. Working phones - iPhone, Custom Android ROM (Android 12).

3. Not working phones - Xiaomi Note 4, Samsung M51 (Android 12)

Procedure followed -

1. Built the firmware with above mentioned steps, and signed the image.

2. Transferred over the zephyr.signed.bin file to phone.

3. Tried BLE DFU from nRF Connect for Android on phones mentioned in Setup(3).

4. Tried BLE DFU from nRF Connect on phones mentioned in Setup(2).

5. Same file was shared across all the phones.

Issue observed -

1. In Step 4, the firmware update was successful.

2. In Step 3, the firmware update was not attempted with error "DFU File Error".

Hello. Got the update for iOS, and was able to do the Firmware upgrade over BLE successfully with the same image. However, we haven't received any app update for Android yet, so we haven't been able to test with Android.

Hello, what didn't work on iOS should have been working on Android before. I cannot see here any logs from Android indicating the cause of the issue. Could you provide them?

The screenshot from nRF Connect send like taken before the dfu was started, a there's no [McuMgr] logs, like I'm the "working" snippet.

Those from nRF Logger seem better, but the only weird thing there is no progress before disconnection. Is that what you observe? No error message?

Hello, those are the logs as is, given from nRF Logger. The screenshot attached in the original post, that is the error seen, and the disconnection is manual. There don't seem to be an exchange of SMP messages before that error screenshot is seen. If you can give me a specific scenario to be tested, can give you the logs for that, just like with the nRF Logger.
