how to to reflash the nrf51DK

Hello Everyone,

I flashed the nrf51DK by using the basic blinky example after that i tried to flash the UART example program it is displaying programming is done, but still am getting the result of the basic blinky example and i ahve tried to reset the bootloader but still the result remains same can anyone suggest me what went wrong or how can i solve this issue

The basic blinky example does not require the softdevice so it will flash to mem location 0x00. The uart example uses the softdevice in mem region 0, and the application is flashed to 0x18000 (depending on SD version). Did you flash the chip with the softdevice?

i tried to flash the DK by using softdevice but it is showing red icon along with this option s110_softdevice.hex i did not understand what went wrong but previously i flashed the UART exmaple and i checked the output in termite terminal

I'm not sure what you mean with "red icon". Can you please tell me where you found the examples (from which SDK) and which version of the softdevice you are trying to flash. Are you using nRFgo Studio to flash the SD and app?

i have installed SDK version 9 and found the examples in that same file and am not using NRF go STUDIO to flash the KIT am just simply using the LOAD icon in the keil IDE

Try to install mbed bootloader and run an example from that, see if it works. Atleast you'll know whether your board is damaged or not.
