QDID for Bluetooth Stack

Dear Ladies and Gentleman 

Regarding the Bluetooth SIG Qualification the BQC needs a QDID for the Bluetooth Stack.

The SoC (nRF52840 QIAAD0 2124EH) mentioned above, also serves as the micro-controller for the main PCB of an electronic RFID lock.

Our development partner programmed the firmware on the mbed OS platform.

Can we use a Soft Device QDID or should we make new tests to obtain a specific QDID?

In case that we can use a Soft Device QDID, wich would be suitable for the SoC used by us?

You can use the Bluetooth QDIDs for nRF52840 SoC with a compatible Bluetooth stack listed here.

Where can I get the information wich Soft Device or SDK applies in our case?

I can use the Softdevice QIDIDs only if I'm coding the firmware with your SDK.

There aren't any APIs that implements the Nordic Softdevices?

Hi, 

You can use the Softdevice QIDIDs if you implement the firmware with the Softdevice. 

Here is the S140 SoftDevice v7.3.0 API doc for nRF5 SDK. For NCS, you can take a look at this SoftDevice Controller. I would suggest you can start with the examples of the NCS. Also, check out this nRF Connect SDK and nRF5 SDK statement .
