Why is my nRF52840 not detected in connected devices in Visual Studio ? I installed everything also latest version of the nRF Command Line Tools

I am using nRF52840 Dongle and I am not able to see any option in connected device

The nRF52840 Dongle is using a bootloader.

VS Code detects devices connected via a debugger (for example DKs).

To program the nRF52840 Dongle, I recommend the nRF Connect for Desktop programmer app.

Ohh yeah I am using that app thanks for the quick reply. By th way do you have sample for zigbee light switch for nrf52840 dongle?

While the ZigBee light switch sample sample is not offiically tested for the nRF52840 Dongle, I beleive it should work.
Maybe some changes are needed, but it should not be too much.

If I only use the nRF Connect for Desktop Programmer, how can I debug the nRF52840 dongle? Could erasing the bootloader perhaps offer a solution? And how to erasing bootloader.
