nRF52840 SoC and nRF switch (sw8) in nRF52840 DK

To make sure that the nRF52840 SoC is not powered when the nRF power switch (SW8) is OFF. 

So what happens if I power the nRF52840 SoC when the nRF switch (SW8) is ON ?
