Replacing the old Infocentre:
I cannot see any benefit at all.
Oh - so now we're back to the old Infocentre, then?!
(Is that a real question, awneil? :-) )YES the infocenter is back!Instead of fighting the performance issues of the Doclib, we moved back. Not without pains though, we're already seeing complaining about that too.In particular about search and filtering. But currently IMO this is our best option. So we're sticking to that temporarily , indefinitely.
Thanks for the update.
Yes, it was a real question!
As everyone else seemed to prefer the DocLib, I was surprised to see it back.

Indeed - it seems to have broken all the old links to the previous Infocentre.
Unfortunately yes, all old links in the DevZone that point to the DocLib will be useless. It's a choice between a rock and a hard place. There were pros and cons of the Doclib, and the long-term goal was to get the good features from the infocenter - that everyone wanted - into the DocLib. Unfortunately, we were seeing issues on too many fronts so the safest thing was to "retreat" and ensure safe delivery of documentation.I will see if we can do something about the dead links - it is of course technically possible to fix them but not without extensive manual labor.
Stay tuned, awneil - And remember the downtime this afternoon.Eivind
