DFU application error

We followed this link devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../, we loaded zip file in mobile(android 6.0.1). We are able to select device, we are not able to select file(Zip). The issue is, I am never able to use this .zip file for a DFU update. I open up my nRF connect App(latest version) on my phone, connect to my device, select file option which opens up a dialog box which asks for either Distribution Packet(zip), softdevice, Bootloader or Application. When I select Distribution packet, it asks to select my zip file and I browse(File Manager app on Android) to select the .zip which I created above. The zip file gets opened in the file Manager App and 'not selected' and all the files inside are visible but none of the files are selectable.

Are you using a third party, or default file manager on android? I have been using File Commander (third party) in our project to avoid some problems with the default one.

@DMS: Could you let me know which SDK you are testing with ? Could you try to use another app instead of the File Manager ? for example the default file browser , or try File Commander.

It should not open the zip file but select the .zip file.

sdk 12, i tried with different phone (android lollipop), file gets selected.

Did you try File Commander on this phone, or are you just going to stick with the lollipop device?
