Open Mesh maximum connection and latency

What is the maximum number of connection a central device can connect and control in open mesh? Is 1 to 50 possible? What is the latency? I am comparing to RFdigital Simblee propietary SimbleeCom: Unlimited connection and 3ms second latency. Next coming Redbearlab BLE Nano 2 will be 1 to 32 connection star (non mesh). I need to decide which is more suitable for my product.

Hi Daniel,

nRF OpenMesh is a connection-less mesh, meaning that it only uses advertisment packets. Each node can talk to several hundred nodes, please see this answer. The node-to-node latency is given in this answer.
