Central and peripheral advertising

Hello dear Nordic members,

I got a theoretical question: I want to connect two chips, one as central and the other as peripheral. Is it possible to stop advertising procedures, for both central and peripheral, directly after the connection is being set? I want the chips just to communicate with each other the whole time without advertising when the connection between the two is established.

Hi,

When the central connects to the peripheral, the peripheral will automatically stop the advertising. A regular peripheral cannot connect to multiple centrals. Also note that the peripheral is the only one that is advertising, the central is scanning.
